The “Enviro-Cat” vessel design boasts lower fuel use per passenger than a small four-cylinder car. The hull and machinery package was specifically developed to protect the maritime environment. This makes Quokka 1 & 3 some of the most environmentally friendly vessels in Australia.

Featuring the Humphree active ride control, a high-tech system that automatically adjusts the vessels trim to give the smoothest ride possible with the added benefit of reducing fuel consumption, disabled access and bathroom facilities plus Wi-Fi and interactive screens – the fleet has your start AND end to your Rottnest adventure as enjoyable as possible.

Our SeaLink Rottnest Island vessels, Quokka 1 & 2, offers restrooms and disabled access on the main deck.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Our SeaLink Rottnest Island vessels are both wheelchair and disabled access friendly. To assist with passenger comfort and safety, any passengers travelling in a wheelchair or bringing a pram whether stowed, or taken on board, will be given priority boarding.

Please inform staff at the time of booking if a passenger will be travelling in a wheelchair as there are limited spaces on board.
