Bike Hire - discover Rottnest Island by bicycle!

Hire your bike before you go and save time - an easy & stress free way to get the ultimate Rottnest experience.

Cycling is environmentally friendly and a fun recreational activity for all ages. As Rottnest Island has no private vehicles, cycling is also one of the best modes of transport on the Island. To ride around the entire island (22kms) you would need between 3-5 hours, alternatively there are shorter routes available. 

SKIP THE LINE! Make your way from the ferry to the Pedal and Flipper shop behind Hotel Rottnest. You can line up at the dedicated SeaLink Rottnest Island queue making it quick and easy to get your bike. Your bike hire will include a helmet and lock. The Bike Hire team is trained to personally fit customers to bikes to ensure optimum comfort and safety.

Bicycles must be collected on the island by an Adult 18+. Hirers under the age of 18, must be accompanied at time of bike hire by a parent or guardian who is 18+. Bicycles must be returned to Pedal and Flipper by closing time.

Snorkel Hire

Snorkelling is absolutely amazing on Rottnest Island, with many calm bays and beaches to choose from. See some unique marine wildlife and tropical corals in the beautiful underwater habitat. Guide yourself on one of the many snorkeling trails or frolic in the shallow rockpools. 

Snorkel hire includes 1 x snorkel & flipper set. Must be returned to Pedal and Flipper by closing time. Please see trading hours on sidebar.

Bringing your own bike?

On our booking page, simply select 'yes' when asked: Are you bringing luggage, bikes or sporting items? You can then add your own bikes onto your booking for an additional $15pp!
